Salary: £14.50 per hour
Lucas Love Healthcare are working alongside our client to recruit a Chef to join their team in Killinchy. They are looking for a Chef with an eagerness to learn, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, ensuring that meals are both satisfying and tailored to individual dietary needs.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Must have experience working as a chef (full training will be given by the Head Chef)
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Experience working within a nursing home setting
- Formal culinary qualification
MAIN DUTIES:
- Following menu plans
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Assist in the preparation of meals
- Cooking and portioning food
- Managing food storage and stock
- Ensuring meals meet the preferences and dietary requirements of residents including special diets and allergies
- Baking
- Knowledge and competent in IDDSI food levels
