Mental Health, although there is a lot more awareness, it is still a taboo subject – but it’s doesn’t have to be. Your mental health and wellbeing is important to us!
Let’s help break the stigma against Mental Health and let’s talk about it.
Here are some top tips to promote good mental health:
Connect with people
Building good relationships with people, helps remove any feeling of loneliness; it gives you the opportunity to share your feelings as well as positive experiences.
Ask a friend round for a games night / have lunch with a colleague / volunteer at a local community group / arrange a video call with a family member
Get active
Being active is not only great for your physical health, but it is great for your mental health too.
This helps raise your self esteem and although tough at the time, always gives you a sense of accomplishment and positivity.
Learn something new
Learning something new can improve your mental wellbeing. I’m sure a lot of you tried something new during lockdown; where it works out well or not, it gives you a sense of purpose.
Ideas of what you could learn:

- DIY project
- Learn to play an instrument
- Crochet
- Learn to cook / bake
