Lucas Love Healthcare are working alongside our client to recruit an Assistant Cook to join their team in Dromore.

JOB PURPOSE:
The successful applicant will take full responsibility for the running of the Kitchen when the Head Cook is off Duty. They will be responsible for full preparation of wholesome and nutritious meals through a structured menu plan for the residents within the home. Cooking and serving of breakfast, lunch and tea for the home’s 51 patients along with preparing a selection of drink, snacks and home baking.
The successful applicant will motivate and manage the kitchen team and assist with completing all necessary paperwork and food orders.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a similar environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent catering skills
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- NVQ Level 2 / 3 or City & Guilds Equivalent
- Level 3 in Food Hygiene
