What is the HSCNI Agency Workers Framework?
From 2 June 2025, Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) introduced a new Agency Workers Framework to manage the supply of temporary staff across Northern Ireland.
This framework ensures that agency staff are sourced only from approved suppliers, all of whom have been assessed on quality, price, and social value. The aim is to reduce costs, strengthen workforce stability, and ensure safe, effective care for patients and service users.
